Winnipeg Lost Dog Alert turns 9 years old!
Nine years ago today a man was out looking for a lost dog named Tanner. He had been out before looking for lost dogs and he found it frustrating when everyone was getting texts as to where Tanner was, but by the time everyone got the text, Tanner was gone. So he thought there had to be a better way to get this information to everyone in a timely manner.
Greg Mitchell went home that night on January 23, 2011 and created Winnipeg Lost Dog Alert Facebook page.
